Art Workshop during the summer break: Build a collective radio
17 June—19 June, 2025. 12:00-16:00, floor 1
Curious about aesthetics and technology? During the summer art camp, you can learn to build a collective radio
Together with the artist duo eeefff (Minsk/Berlin), participants at the workshop are building a collective radio for everyone. During the workshop, radio programs are created and the participants design posters and other graphic elements to spread the radio channel in the municipality. The programs will be broadcast around Kin Museum of Contemporary Art, but also on the internet. The participants experiment with different ways of using the radio as a creative and tactile tool together with the artists.
The Art Workshop is free and suitable for all ages.
Kin at the Kiruna Festival
27 june—28 june, 2025
At the City Hall Square
During the Kiruna Festival 2025, Kin will be on site outside on the City Hall Square with a painting table that is suitable for both adults and children. In case of bad weather, we will move inside to the City Hall, floor 0 in Kristallen.
In the Art Workshop, floor 1
In Kin's Art Workshop there is the opportunity to create based on the exhibition The Living Room—An installation by Katarina Spik Skum together with Kin's mediators. Participants make their own mobiles, inspired by Katarina's way of creating unique interior details based on her Sami background.
